UN accidents convention conference aims at better coordination

Ljubljana, 28 November - A three-day conference of countries parties to the UN Convention on the Transboundary Effects of Industrial Accidents kicked off in Ljubljana on Monday. Among other topics, the event will focus on possibilities to improve the system of notifying other countries in cases of catastrophes, Environment Minister Irena Majcen said.
