Number of new HIV infections on increase, but so is testing

Ljubljana, 1 December - A record 56 people were diagnosed with HIV in Slovenia between 1 January and 22 November this year, which is attributed to a rising number of infections but also to a successful promotion of testing. The importance of using condoms to help reduce the spread of sexually transmitted diseases was stressed yet again on the occasion of World AIDS Day.
