Amount of food waste in Slovenia rising
Ljubljana, 4 December - Slovenians threw away an average of 73 kilos of food in 2015, a 14% increase over 2013 that reflects the worrying general trend in recent years. In the past three years an average of 143,000 tonnes of food were wasted in Slovenia, half of which by households.
