Year in review: Mega art exhibitions attract thousands

Ljubljana, 23 December - 2016 was a fruitful year for exhibitions, as the two most outstanding displays, on Nikola Tesla (1856-1943) and the work by one of the most sought-after photographers Sebastiao Salgado, attracted tens of thousands of people. The National Gallery, which reopened in full glory after years of renovation, meanwhile attracted over 100,000 visitors.
