Stock index closes lower

Ljubljana, 22 December - The SBI TOP index on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange closed 0.22% lower at 701.68 points on Thursday owning to losses by the busiest items - the issues of drug company Krka (-0.97% to EUR 51.00 on EUR 434,00 in volumes) and fuel retailer Petrol (-0.43% to EUR 315.05; EUR 231,000). Overall turnover amounted to EUR 1.19m.
