Winter recreation beckons
Ljubljana, 4 January - Just because it is cold outside does not mean you need skis to do sport. Indeed, several interesting events not involving skis are on offer this weekend.

In western Slovenia the winter edition of the Karst Decathlon will be held on Sunday.

At the other end of the country, in Svečina in eastern Slovenia, Nordic hikers are invited to a two-country tour of the wine-growing region.
