A case of bird flu confirmed in NE Slovenia

Ljubljana, 4 January - A case of avian influenza or bird flu was confirmed in Pragersko in the north-east of Slovenia, the Administration for Food Safety, Veterinary Sector and Plant Protection said on Wednesday. According to the Administration, three swans were infected with the virus subtype H5N8.
