Židan meeting EU agri commissioner over wine dispute with Croatia
Brussels/Ljubljana, 12 January - Agriculture Minister Dejan Židan is meeting European Agriculture Commissioner Phil Hogan in Brussels today to protest against the Commission's plan to allow the use of the name Teran for a wine produced in Croatia. Slovenia registered Teran, a red wine made in the Slovenian Kras region, as a protected designation of origin in 2000.
