CoE human rights commissioner urges rejection of aliens act

Strasbourg, 16 January - Nils Muižnieks, the Council of Europe's (CoE) human rights commissioner, has called on the Slovenian National Assembly to reject amendments to the aliens act that he said "raise serious issues of compatibility with a number of European and international standards by which Slovenia is bound".
