Labour minister announces 1.8% minimum wage rise

Ljubljana, 20 January - Labour Minister Anja Kopač Mrak announced after a session of the Economic and Social Council (ESS) on Friday a 1.8% rise in the minimum wage to EUR 805 gross or EUR 614 net. The decision to adjust the wage more than just to inflation, which would have meant 0.5%, comes much to the dismay of Economy Minister Zdravko Počivalšek.
