Tourism figures for 2016, another record year, to be unveiled

Ljubljana, 31 January - The Economy Ministry and the Slovenian Tourist Board (STO) will hold a news conference on Tuesday as the Statistics Office releases official tourism figures for 2016, which is believed to have been a record year. Slovenia recorded almost 11 million overnight stays and a high growth in foreign tourists last year, according to the STO.
