Ljubljana makes it among Top 10 In Your Pocket cities
Ljubljana, 30 January - Slovenia's capital Ljubljana placed among the top ten cities searched for on the global website of In Your Pocket City Guides for 2016, ranking 6th among roughly 200 cities.

According to In Your Pocket - Slovenia, its high ranking is an indication of Ljubljana's growing popularity as a tourist destination.
With 4.27% of web views, the city follows only Krakow, Prague, Warsaw, Johannesburg, and Bucharest, with the top 10 rounded out by Gdansk, Riga, Zurich, and Wroclaw.
Via the website, the guide's readers voted on things such as cultural and night-life in Ljubljana, voting Centralna Postaja as best bar, Cirkus as best club and Pivnica Union as best pub.
They picked Kino Šiška as the best live music venue and Gala Hala as the best alternative night-life venue, while Museum of Illusions was chosen as the best night-time entertainment.
The Kinodvor cinema won as the best night-time cultural venue, while Jet Bar was voted the best lounge bar and Olimpija Burek as a place offering the best late-time snack.
Ljubljana recorded a record of almost 1.28 million overnight stays last year, more than a 10% increase over the year before. The trend is expected to continue this year.
