Celje-Zidani most rail upgrade begins

Celje, 31 January - The upgrade of a 26-kilometre rail section between Zidani most and Celje in eastern Slovenia, a project valued at EUR 282m, officially began on Tuesday. The aim is to increase capacity by about a tenth to 354 trains per day, reduce travel time and improve safety.
