Red tape and fines closing Austrian services market

Ljubljana, 9 February - Austria tightened its law on the prevention of payment and social dumping on 1 January, sparking protest of foreign businesses on its services market. The most contentious changes are the introduction of more bureaucracy and higher fines, which Slovenian businesses say are closing the market to foreigners and violate EU rules.
