EU Commission upgrades GDP growth forecast for Slovenia to 3%

Brussels, 13 February - The European Commission has significantly upgraded its growth expectations for Slovenia's economy, forecasting on Monday a 3% GDP increase both for 2017 and 2018. The Commission, however, also expects the country's structural budget deficit to rise from 1.9% to 2.6% in the 2016-2018 period.
