Slovenia withdraws from women's Eurobasket 2019 bid

Ljubljana, 2 March - Slovenia has withdrawn from the bid to co-host the European Women's Basketball Championship in 2019 with Serbia. The Slovenian Basketball Association said in a press release on Thursday that the move had been prompted by a number of open issues and risks.
