Referendum on immigration rejected in parliament

Ljubljana, 8 March - A proposal for a consultative referendum to restrict immigration and reject the EU quota system put forward by unaffiliated MP Andrej Čuš was rejected on Wednesday by the relevant parliamentary committee after the motion had already been dismissed by the government.
