ApiSlovenija beekeepers' festival gets under way

Celje, 11 March - The ApiSlovenija 2016 conference, the 40th festival of Slovenian beekeepers, got under way at the Celje Fairgrounds on Saturday as Slovenian efforts to get 20 May declared World Honeybee Day by the UN are in full swing and nearing completion. Already on Friday, Agriculture Minister Dejan Židan officially launched a website dedicated to the day.
