Attempt at reintroducing chromium-6 at Kovinoplastika Lož causes stir
Stari Trg pri Ložu, 5 April - News of plans by steel fittings producer Kovinoplastika Lož, which got a Finnish owner last summer, to reintroduce the cancer-causing pollutant chromium-6 into production has been met with strong resistance in the affected municipality. The company said in response that the deal entailing the use chromium-6 was very unlikely.
