Lendava, 6 April - Maria Pozsonec, a long-serving MP for the Hungarian ethnic minority in Slovenia, died on Tuesday, aged 77. She "selflessly worked for the preservation of the Hungarian language and culture and all-round development of the Hungarian community in Slovenia," reads the website of Lendava, her home town.
