Stricter checks to bring longer queues on Slovenia's Schengen border

Ljubljana, 7 April - The EU's decree tightening controls on the bloc's external borders enters into force today, also affecting the Slovenian-Croatian border, as Croatia is still not integrated in the Schengen Information System. The systematic checks planned have been fuelling overload concerns, which have been also been underlined by police representatives.
