Eta remains world's no. 1 hotplates maker, workload seems excessive

Cerkno, 17 April - Cerkno-based Eta, the largest manufacturer of hotplates in the world which became part of the Swiss EGO group in 1992, is a major employer in the north-west of the country. It opened another 100 jobs in the past year for a workforce total of 880 but while revenue is booming, the workload seems to be taking a toll on the workers.
