Teachers' trade union opposes changes to funding of primary schools

Ljubljana, 18 April - The teachers' trade union SVIZ opposes the recently-adopted legislative proposal instituting equal state funding for public and private primary schools. It also argues that changes to the Constitution should be made to clearly define the obligation of the state to provide free education to public school students.
