Only coalition supports rail upgrade bill, referendum looming
Ljubljana, 20 April - The coalition and opposition were split on the government-sponsored bill on a rail upgrade between the port of Koper and the inland hub of Divača in Thursday's parliamentary debate. The opposition feels many questions regarding the project are still open and a civil initiative may push for a referendum.
