Parliament confirms deficit reduction pace

Ljubljana, 20 April - The National Assembly endorsed in a 53:10 vote on Thursday the government's plan to bring the deficit into surplus in 2019, despite concerns by the conservative opposition and the recently appointed Fiscal Council that the pace of consolidation is too slow.
