Italy introducing border checks due to G7

Ljubljana/Rome, 10 May - Italy will reintroduce temporary border checks on Wednesday due to the upcoming G7 summit in Taormina scheduled between 26 and 27 May. Passengers will need an ID card or passport to cross the border, the Slovenian police have said. The stricter control will be in place until 30 May.
