EU members okay new extension of internal border checks

Ljubljana, 10 May - EU members confirmed on Wednesday the European Commission proposal for another six-month extension of temporary controls on certain borders within the Schengen zone, including on the Slovenian-Austrian border. Slovenia maintains the measure is unwarranted.
