Environmental consequences of waste plant blaze still being determined
Vrhnika, 16 May - The environmental consequences of a massive blaze that destroyed a waste processing plant in Vrhnika are still being determined, with the first assessments showing extremely high concentrations of PM10 particles and mercury in the area. A local fishing club meanwhile said "everything living" had died in a nearby stream.
