Land in focus as committee debates Magna Steyr investment
Ljubljana, 17 May - The protection of farmland was in focus as the parliamentary Agriculture Committee debated an investment by automotive company Magna Steyr late on Tuesday. The coalition deflected opposition motions that could affect the project, including an appeal that a forest which is supposed to be cut down to provide replacement farmland be protected.
