May Declaration landmark expression of national confidence, historian Rahten says

Ljubljana, 27 May - The May Declaration, launched on 30 May 1917 as an articulation of the idea that south Slavic nations should have their own autonomous state, albeit under Hapsburg rule, was a key expression of Slovenian national confidence, according to historian Andrej Rahten, Slovenia's ambassador to Austria.
