New act on sports adopted, union says no job security provided
Ljubljana, 30 May - MPs adopted on Tuesday a new umbrella act on sports, which replaces a 20 years old piece of legislation to address issues like access to recreation and employment of athletes after their sport careers. Athlete representatives are however not happy with the level of job security provided and are even ready to challenge the act with a referendum.
