Slovenian prisons less crowded in 2016

Ljubljana, 6 June - Slovenian prisons have been plagued by overcrowding for years, but the latest statistics show the situation is slowly improving. An average of 1,377 people were incarcerated in 2016, which is down 5.8% from the previous year, according to a report by the Prison Administration.
