Changes to waiting system at hospitals pass first reading

Ljubljana, 20 June - Amendments to the patients rights act, which are part of the health reform package and are aimed at improving the management and oversight of waiting lists, passed the first reading in parliament on Tuesday. During the debate, MPs expressed doubt that they will cut waiting times and warned they may increase paper work.
