Merging of the Left marked by departures from IDS

Ljubljana, 24 June - The two parties that had so far formed the opposition United Left (ZL) merged into a single party, the Left, at a congress in Ljubljana on Saturday. Deputy group head Luka Mesec was elected party coordinator as the only candidate for the top post.
