Govt bans free lightweight plastic bags as of 2019
Ljubljana, 6 July - Transposing an EU directive meant to reduce the consumption of lightweight plastic bags, the government decided on Thursday to ban as of 1 January 2019 free lightweight plastic carrier bags with the exception of those used for fresh produce.
