Trains in Slovenia transported 18.6 million tonnes of cargo in 2016

Ljubljana, 13 July - Trains in Slovenia transported almost 18.6 million tonnes of cargo in 2016, which is 4.3% more than the year before. Tonne kilometres were up by 4.4% to 4.36 billion. Some 85% of the cargo was transported by international trains, the Statistics Office said on Thursday.
