Trade unions want more autonomy for planned demographic fund

Ljubljana, 18 July - The ZSSS trade union confederation called on Tuesday for changes to the proposal for a new Demographic Fund, arguing the institution meant to shore up Slovenia's pension system needs to be independent. It argues this would also be secured with a stronger representation of trade unions and pensions on the supervisory board.
