This year's drought will probably be declared natural disaster

Semič, 17 August - Agriculture Ministry State Secretary Tanja Strniša visited on Thursday the south-eastern areas of Semič and Črnomelj, which have been hit the hardest by this year's drought, assessing that it would most probably meet the criteria to be declared a natural disaster. Strniša fears the total damage could be the worst since the 2003 drought.
