Locals from Magna investment region and NGOs clash over environmental approval

Ljubljana, 25 August - Locals from the Hoče-Slivnica municipality who fear losing the Magna Steyr paint shop project to protracted environmental permit proceedings paid a visit to a centre of environmental NGOs in Ljubljana on Friday to protest the "undermining" of the project. The NGOs spoke of an unprecedented "smear campaign".
