Slovenian farms produce 650,000 tonnes of milk

Ljubljana, 3 September - Around 15,500 farms in Slovenia produced almost 650,000 tonnes of cow milk last year, up 2.9% from the year before, shows the latest data of the Statistics Office. A vast majority of milk (88%) was meant for sale, with the amount increasing by 21,000 tonnes.
