SIJ Acroni launches EUR 30m investment

Jesenice, 8 September - Acroni, a company within the Russian-owned Slovenian steel group SIJ, launched an AOD furnace on Friday in an EUR 30m investment that will enable the company to increase its capacity for the production of stainless and special steels and reinforce its position in niche steel markets.
