Welcome party staged for golden basketball players
Ljubljana, 18 September - The Slovenian national basketball team were welcomed on Monday evening by an estimated 20,000 fans in Ljubljana's Congress Square after winning the gold medal at the EuroBasket on Sunday. The party is likely to continue until late in the night as Slovenia is celebrating the nation's best result ever in team sports.
