President upbeat about implementation of arbitration award, opposes new bilateral deal
Ljubljana, 19 September - President Borut Pahor is convinced the award of the border arbitration tribunal will be implemented but finds it unacceptable to tackle this in bilateral talks. "Even conceding to a willingness to talk about implementation with a new bilateral agreement would mean the legal validity of the award would be significantly weakened," he told the STA.
