NGO protests against revival of Trieste gas terminal plans

Ljubljana, 19 September - After reports that the Italian government has abandoned plans for a gas terminal in the Gulf of Trieste, which were strongly opposed by the local authorities as well as Slovenia, the project seems to have been revived in mid-June. Environmental NGO Alpe Adria Green has now issued a complaint about it to the EU.
