Morning referendum turnout well below marriage equality vote figures

Ljubljana, 24 September - Slightly over 107,000 voters or 6.25% of the electorate turned out for voting by 11 AM in today's referendum on a government law governing an upgrade of a rail link to the Koper port. This is for instance 3.05 percentage points less than at the marriage equality referendum in 2015.
