Ljubljana to get Mosque Street

Ljubljana, 26 September - The Ljubljana City Council has confirmed the proposal to name a street leading up to the emerging mosque in the capital Džamijska ulica or Mosque Street. The decision, adopted on Monday in a 24:9 vote, had been opposed above all by the opposition Democrats (SDS) and New Slovenia (NSi) as well as by representatives of the Bežigrad borough.
