Left wants MPs to debate Slovenia not joining nuclear ban treaty

Ljubljana, 26 September - The opposition Left has demanded a session of the parliamentary Foreign Policy Committee to be held to discuss Slovenia's decision not to join the UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons. The party believes the Slovenian government is boycotting the treaty "under the instructions from the US".
