Tax and social security revenue up 4.2% last year

Ljubljana, 27 September - The total revenue from taxes and social security contributions collected by the state amounted to EUR 14.87bn last year, which is 4.2% more than in 2015. Tax revenue was up by EUR 361m to EUR 8.9bn, while revenue from social security contributions was up by EUR 243m to EUR 5.97bn, the Statistics Office reported on Wednesday.
