Majority of candidates standing with party support

Ljubljana, 2 October - Slovenians will choose between as many as nine candidates in the 22 October presidential election, including a record number of women. All candidates, bar incumbent President Borut Pahor, who is running on voter support, are backed by parties. The candidates are listed as they submitted their bids.
