General government surplus at 0.3% of GDP in Q2

Ljubljana, 29 September - After the state recorded a EUR 155m or 1.6% of GDP deficit in the first three months of the year, it generated a EUR 30m or 0.3% of GDP surplus in the second quarter. Interest costs excluded, this is the highest three-month surplus in the last decade, data released on Friday by the Statistics Office show.
